Best. Dad. Ever.

Hi y'all! Father's Day is this Sunday and I'm just popping in here to share a couple of cards that I have just finished making.

Even though both cards were made using the same LD files, they have a slightly different look. By using print-and-cut to print, and then cut out the sentiment and the "tools", I managed to take very little time to put together and finish the cards.

The "pegboard" base was cut out with a metal die and my Sizzix Big Shot. If you like the look but don't have the die, you can probably use your cutting machine to cut one out. It's basically just a 4" x 5 1/4" rectangle filled with a grid of 1/8" circles.

One more thing before I go - do you know that LD has marked down many of their Father's Day-themed products by 75%? There are some good deals to be had! Below is a sampling of what's on sale, there are plenty more on the LD site.
